Mt. Ossa (Kissavos) activities with Olympos Trek

The land of the Centaurs.

The southern neighbor of Mt Olympus and its continuation to the south. The dramatic and historical Tempi valley / gorge with river Pinios running through, draws the border line of the two mountains.

Rises straight from the Agean Sea to its highest pyramid summit at 1978m. Its east and north slopes are densely forested with a very rich forest, torrents and canyons. Compared with its more famοus neighbor, morphology wise, it is a milder mountain but strongly holding its own special character. Ideal ground for all kinds of outdoor activities!

Along with its southern neighbor Mt Pelion and according to the Greek mythology, is the land of the Centaurs.
